Reiki pronounced (Ray-Key) is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life energy, an energy which is all around us. Reiki, when activated and applied for purposes of healing, addresses body mind and spirit. It accelerates the bodies’ ability to heal physical ailments and opens the mind and spirit to the causes of pain, and the necessity for taking responsibility for one’s life.
The Usui System of Reiki is a natural form of healing. Reiki classes are open to anyone and no special abilities are required. Children from about the age of 7 can take a class provided one parent has Reiki.
