Reiki 1 (First Degree Reiki), is usually taught in four two to three hour sessions.
There are four initiations shared by the Reiki master with each student.
Class time is provided for students, to begin practicing Reiki on themselves and on other students, under the caring supervision of the Reiki Master.
The only prerequisites for learning the Usui System of Reiki are: openness, desire to learn and commitment to use Reiki in one's life.
First Degree classes are run four consecutive days:
NOTE: On the first evening of each class I will give a Free Introductory talk (8pm to 9.30pm) all are welcome. Classes continue until approx. 10.00pm.
Talk is also part of the class.

Reiki provides persons with the means of maintaining balance in their own health and that of their family and friends. Reiki can also be incorporated effectively into healing arts practiced by health professionals. The essence of Reiki is as alive today as it was many years ago. Reiki II (or Second Degree Reiki) is usually taught in three sessions. In this class, persons who have completed First Degree Reiki training and have used Reiki actively in their lives renew their commitment to the use of Reiki. They are taught the methods evolved by Dr. Usui for sending Reiki at a distance and for furthering the mental, spiritual and emotional healing process of individuals.
